HERITAGE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

Pastor Lloyd Narimatsu welcoming everyone to Heritage Christian Fellowship first ever Revival. "Although it's raining cats and dogs outside, that didn't stop all of you from coming to God's Revival, did it? God has surely showered us with His blessings tonight."

Pastor Lloyd announcing what's in store for the three day Revival weekend.

Pastor Alan Tamashiro from Puna Baptist Congregational will kick us off with a spiritual message for God.

Tomorrow afternoon, multiple Biblical classes will be offered.  After the classes, HCF will serve dinner, and Pastor Leon Baker from Paradise Park Baptist Church will be giving another spiritual message from God.

Concluding the Revival, on Sunday, Pastor Baker will deliver the closing message.

The Praise Team led God's family with music.

Our praise band co-directors Clayton Kua and Ray Peralta, members CJ Kua, "DiDo" Merseburger, Rudy Gabonia, Donald Nishioka and Louann Kimura.

Hats off to everyone!   They practiced really hard and it showed in the sweet and beautiful renditions they offered to the Lord.

Pastor Alan Tamashiro gave the opening (Friday night) message-- "You cannot escape the long arm of the Lord."  He talked about Jonah.  What was interesting was what he pointed out--that God's grace protected Jonah by the act of the big fish swallowing him.  Because of that, Jonah was protected by the elements of the freezing cold water and provision of air to breathe.

Hi everyone!   It's Saturday, the second day of our Revival.

We started off with various Biblical classes. We offered five classes for adults and separate classes for our youths and children.  Keiki nursery was also provided.

Brother Kevin Brown presented two classes: How to Win Souls For Christ and How to Study the Bible.

Louann Kimura, Deaconess Sheri Kang and Deacon Eddie Yokoyama joined together to present a repeated class entitled, "Bible Facts and Mysteries."

Deacon Gene Monnier presented a repreated class, "Experiencing God."

Jean Monnier repeated her class, "God's Plan for Marriage."

Deacon John Kimura and Gail Kimura presented a class entitled,  "Believers, Who Are We?"

Youth Director Lane Morikawa presented to the youth think "Real Life" crossed with "Survivor."

Children's Director Jeff Hironaga and Trintje Hironaga occupied the children with, "A Time of Enthusiasm & Excitement!"

Aunty Roxann Ikeda and Aunty Valerie Saruwatari took care of our keiki in the nursery.

Time for nourishment.   Main course for dinner was Roast Turkey with gravy and lot of sides....

Saturday night's introductory message by Pastor Lloyd. "Last night we received a spirit filled message by Pastor Alan Tamashiro.  Today,  various Biblical classes for the adults, youths and children were offered. The nursery took care of our keikis.

We partaked of a scrumptious turkey dinner, and now, Pastor Leon Baker will deliver tonight's message."

"What are all of you expecting from a Revival? Ever heard of the soap commercial where the soap--Spirit-- will cleanse, refresh and deodorize.  Is that what you expect?

Well, the only way to get all of this is to humble yourself, stop being so self-righteous, self-centered, that's the only way.

2Chronicles7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Tonight, you will hear the leaders of the church embarrass and humiliate themselves by giving themselves to God...."

The Deacons as leaders of the Church,  went up for an altar call, confessing their sins, asking for forgiveness of their sins, asking forgiveness for offending anyone with words, thoughts or actions, and giving their lives to God.

The congregation was invited also for an altar call.

Praise God....for He is great....He is great, indeed!

What a way to end the night, lifting our hands praising and thanking God,  giving HIM all the praises and glory....

Sunday morning and Pastor Lloyd asked the congregation, "Has your faith in God been revived yet?.. Don't you feel the spirt of God present at this Revival?

What about the spirit filled messages by Pastor Alan Friday night and last night's message by Pastor Leon, wasn't it all moving?...

The congregation responded with a resounding, 'YES!  Amen!"

Pastor Leon will deliver the closing message...

"I have enjoyed taking part of your Revival. Seeing your church do what you do, I can see this is a church that's alive...Keep doing everything what your doing.

Today I will talk to you about how prayer changes things. I will give you some of my own testimony about my family and myself, how just praying helped us.

Also, why you should keep your faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

I hope this Revival has accomplished its purpose, and that is so everyone could get closer to God, to revitalize your faith in God, and just to love God the way He loves all of us..

Thank you everybody for all that you did to make this Revival a great success..

God Bless everyone!  Have a great day in the Lord! ....
